• Help with removing door panels!

For some appearance mods, I need to remove my door panels. I noticed a screw in the magazine holder. I take it that needs to be removed, after that what other screws need to come out?

Edit: The car is a 2001 firebird.

Search the panel for about 5-7 screws - some are BIG and some are small - 2 sizes only.

Once you remove ALL the screws pop out your electricl door/control panel if you have electric stuff - otherwise pop off the spring holding on your windowcrank

Then, pull up and out gently on the door panel - if something snaggs - unscrew it or pop it loose.

Be sure you remove the door handle/lock cover and upper triangle before removing the panel - goodluck.

it sucks trying to put it back on once you have it off..

IT REALLY sucks and trying to keep the lock mechanism arm lined up right and everything.. a major pain literally too

Lots of L type arms holding the door on.. you have to roll down the window and look down the top side and just start working one end loose at a time
