the brake lights, or all the taillights?

if no brakes but taillights work, then check the brake pedal switch, if none work, check the grounds

the tail brake bulbs should have 2 filiments in there, so it is possible for the tail lights to still work and and not the brake lights, try a new bulb and if it don't work then try the brake switch like stated above

not sure on the camaro's, but my bird has 6 brake lights, so the chance of all of them dying at the same time, are not likely.

Im assuming the camaro has at least 3 if not more.

camaro has 1 bulb per side for tail/brake function; like viper said it's a single bulb with two filaments.

since they're both broken, could it be that one went out a while back, and you just noticed the second going out?

replace the bulbs; that shouldn't cost any more than $7 total. if it's not that, then check the pedal switch.

another thing that will happen when the fuse goes out is that the CHMTBL and brakes will be "on" all the time until you press the brake, then they go off. could that be it?
