My car is haveing troubles starting after it sets for like 8 hrs. or more. I think the fuel pump is bleeding off preasure. My dad and I are gonna test it and make sure, but if it is the pump my dad has a high performance LT1 pump we could put in it. I was wondering if this pump would work ok for my car of if there would be too much preasure or fuel flow? Tell me what you guys think please.

Depends on what pump it is. If it is a stock pump from a LT1, it will be fine b/c it's the same pump. If it is a higher flow pump, you will be fine too...your fuel pressure regulator and injectors will compensate for the higher flow.
