my car is a 1994 camaro 3.4l. it will shift through all the rpms fine when its first started, then after it warms up it starts droping first it will go to 4000 then to 3000 and it finally gets to where if you hit the gas it will just sputter. we had the car on a scanner and the mechanic couldnt find the problem. this didnt happen until we changed a air filter and my Y pipe is a little banged up if that will help any one. can someone please help

hmm could have to do with something expanding from heat.. if your ypipe is banged up it cough expand wrong and pinch the pipe enough to block the pipe.
