A turbo or super would help. You need to get full exhaust, and intake. 3.42 or 3.73 gears with LSD would help.
You could also do a H/C. A 150 wet shot of nitrous would be the cheapest way. But to hook that up you'd need a torsen diff, LCA's with drag radials, and an aftermarket converter with gears if you are an auto. If you hit the bottle more than a dozen times a month dont expect the engine to last more than about 10k on the bottle.

P&P Heads, Good sized cam, Torque converter, gears. That should get you into the 13's N/A with the stock internals, providing you have a good R/T and 60' time.2000 Firebird. Whisper Lid, True duals, TSP mail order tune, Built Tranny , TCI 2800 stall verter, B&M tranny cooler, Eaton LSD, 3.42 gears. Well I guess I worded it wrong. I know that I need intake/exhaust/gears/converter. So I'm wondering which ones?
3.42s, 4.10s? 4.56s?
3600, 4000, 4600 stall? Yank, PI, Edge?
No nitrous, no headwork, no cam. Stock internals.
Is it possible? I'm asking because noone has done it yet and I'm wondering why? Is it that impossible? If not what's taking so long? There are like 1000s of members here. Someone has to have the desire.

3.73 gears, 3000 stall, add a shift kit too while your at it.

exactly. look and see what magnus did on his site. he was 13.xx or something like that n/a im pretty sure.

I disagree. I went 14.0 stock internals NA with room to improve.
13's can be done, sure!

strip the car bare, converter, gears, and a nitrous kit will get you 13's if you can drive good. just dont get too happy with the gas or it will bite you and then you will have too do internal engine work. i say that if you want too go fast for cheap, just see what you can do with suspension only, then decide if you are happy with where you stand!
