I can't figure out how to turn it off. Today I was detailing my engine and I removed my lid and intake tubing. While doing so, I disconnected the IAT so I could remove the entire assembly. Well, when I put it back together I forgot to reconnect the IAT and after driving for a while my SES light came on. I came home remembering that I forgot to reconnect the IAT so I did then I removed the negative battery terminal to reset the PCM. Well, it didn't reset. I then removed the fuse for the PCM/IGN for the 10 seconds that it says in my manual. That didn't work. What the heck is going on and is it possible that the IAT caused something else to fail. I certainly hope not. It doesn't seem possible that a Intake Air Temperature sensor would make that big a difference, but I guess it does. Someone please help me....the light is annoying!! Thanks ahead of time.

You can go to Autozone, and they will clear it for free, or you can just keep using the car as normal, and it will eventually clear itself.

I didn't know that it would clear itself. I learned something new today. I guess that makes sense though since the code is cleared out. Thanks for the advice. I suppose if that doesn't work though, there's always my "get out of jail free card" called a warranty. Thanks again.
