For a while now, I have had the husrt shifter along with the short stick, however, both are in the box. For one reason, I have been reluctant to start this simple project. I have read both the "instaluniversity" direction and the original ones. In both, it said to tighten the bolts holding the shifter 15-20lbs. ft. torque. My question is, what I require to do this. Please help me finally get started. Thanks alot.. All helpful responses will be greatly appreciated!

Well, not trying to be a smart***, but you need a torque wrench if you want to get it exact. Can't give you an example of how tight 15 - 20 is because everyone's arm strength and length varies. Too subjective.
