Do I need any special tool to get the fuel filter off? I searched and found a post that said I might need one but it wasn't really clear one way or the other.

Loosen the nuts and press on the end towards the front of the car with needlenose pliers and it should pop right out. Ok, I saw the two plastic tabs on the filter (front side) that make up the quick release. Those are what I was wondering if I needed a special tool for. I will use the needlenose pliers as suggested.
