    check out this site http://www.dakotadigital.com/Detail....rtNumber=SGI-8

    and this one http://www.dakotadigital.com/Detail....rtNumber=SGI-5

My question is would it be possible with this combination of these two pieces and maybe an slp recalibrator or something like that to change the dash for a v6 to a v8 of the same year. I plan on changing the engine to either the ramjet or and LS1/LS6 and I'm looking for options so that I can get correct readouts with having to get extra gauges from autometer or others for stuff like my speed and tach, etc. Let me know what you think thaks for any help. As always any help and info is appreciated.

This doesn't realy qualify as advanced tech so I'm moving it to General Tech.

its the LS6 the z06 engine? cuz if it is you're gonna pay way to much for it because its a specialty corvette engine. I remember looking into getting one a while ago, and its not worth it. You're spending like 4k on the engine... plus theres all the extra stuff to but it in. Its bigger and doesnt use the same tranny. I'd stick with the LS1

The LS6 is in all 2001+ Camaros and T/A's also. It is simply a different intake manifold and some other odds and ends. The tranny will bolt up to both of them though. The LS6 replaced the LS1 in late 2000. The Z06 engine has a much better cam and different heads that the standard LS6 engines.

There is more to the LS6 than just intake.. LS6 has improved heads, different cooling system and 4 bolt mains..

The speedo calibrator says not to use with ABS Vehicles.

Really? That sucks because I was told that a kit was sold that would turn my LS1 into a LS6 for like $2k installed.I was told it was only the intake manifold and the cam.Oh well,I guess it'd be better for me to get a different cam/head package anyway......

              PS
Thanks for the heads up Magnus, maybe you saved me some $$$ in the long run....
