Headlights and fog lights malfunctioning

I just wanted to check something really quick. When I have my day running lights on, and I click over to turn on my fog lights, my headlights are popping up... is it normal? Have I just not noticed this until now? Or is something wrong? I thought that I could turn on my fog lights without my lights popping up...

Mine does not do that.

Firebirds sold in Canada are different.

Mine does it now... but it didn't use to... as in, a week ago it just started doing it and it is bugging the crap out of me.... help?

Help anyone?? I would like it fixed, but I am afraid of what the dealer might charge... Any ideas as to why they are popping up at the wrong time?
