The paint on the outside of my car is fairly descent, besides the bar right behind the t-tops. The paint's all cracked probably from the sun.. I'm thinking about repainting it. Is there any way to take this bar off? Thanks... Any help will be appreciated!

Nope. That bar is part of the structural integrity of the car. Mask everything off and get yourself a good step ladder.
