Car runs terrible

This was happend a while ago but I am still curious as to what could cause it.


My car ran fine for a long time then one day it wouldnt start. Then I got it started and it would run like total crap. it would idle really high, then I would tap the gas and it would go down. It backfired a couple times, I drove it to autozone and had my codes scanned, and I got nothing. Then it wouldnt start. Then I let it sit for 30 min and it ran fine. Then it wouldnt start again. Then I let it sit for like 2 days and then it started up and has been running fine ever sense. So weird. I thought maybe bad gas or something???????????? Oh I sprayed nitrous right before it broke too. Could be related?

I had that problem (or something like it) a while ago. Turns out my number 6 wire had melted on one spot and was touching the block. At the time I just took it to the dealer because I had no idea what was going on. When I got it back I replaced all the wires with betters ones. I have not had a problem since.

Was it your first time on the bottle just before this problem came up?

No I had been sprying many times before with no problems. I get the feeling there not related. Very weird though.
