I need the plug and wire for it. I still have the sensor. Should I just buy some wire and wire it myself? I just didn't want it to look ghetto and get dirt in water in there.
Autozone and advance should carry several "pigtails" ask them for one for the IAT sensor. It should be failry common. It will come with the connector and a good 6 inches of wire. Since the IAT is resistence based make sure that you connect the wire with wire to wire contact and solder. Do not use butt conectors.
Went to Autozone and the hot black chick behind the counter laughed when I called it an IAT sensor. She said it was an "air charger temp sensor". She said they don't carry pigtails for them only the sensor itself. They said either the dealership or the junkyard.
Went to the dealer ship and asked for an "air charger temp sensor" pigtail(I feel like a ricer calling it that) and he found a picture of the part I needed and asked if that was it. Pretty nifty feature, wish autozone had that.
It comes with almost 2 feet of wire and 2 splice connectors. Only 25 bucks. Gotta love rape.

air chrage temp sensor is what ford calls there sensor. GM calls it the intake air temp sensor. you should have tried another sotor like advance who can look up starderd ignition products. They have a large line of pigtails.
Holy crap, I found the original pigtail in my engine bay. resting behind the a/c condenser. Couldn't see it at night when I was putting on my whisper lid. Gonna get my money back after the holidays, wooohoo. Thanks for the help though man. I just soldered the wires back together.
