• Frustration with this 3.4L Camaro!!

Hey guys. I've been having the same problem with my 94 3.4L Camaro for almost 2 years now. The problem is that sometimes when I turn my car on, it turns on at 1500 RPM's. Now the first time this happened, a mechanic told me to change the Idle Air Control Valve, which I did. So I changed it, problem solved. At least for a few days. This freaking car does it again. Turn it up, starts up at 1500 RPM's. A method I have used to make this go away temporarily is unplug the negative battery cable, take uut the IAC Valve, adjust the spindle, and place it back in. Then the car works fine. But again, for a while. This problem has gotten to my last nerve now, and am wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong. Computer? The wire that connects to the IAC Valve? Any feedback appreaciate it as I am at the point of getting a bat and beating the hell out of the engine.

Anyone? I want to at least have some solid feedback and some suggestions so that I at least have something to go by when I take it to be fixed.

When you take the IAC out, are you cleaning it with anything?

Dude the only time I've ever come across that is when my batt is dead and the car brings up the RPM to get the alternator spinning and get some charge into the batt.

Well, baterry is new. Alternator is new also. And as far as cleaning it, do you mean cleaning the IAC Valve, or cleaning the inside of place where the IAC Valve goes, because that is kinda dirty when I shove a rag in there. ( In there meaning the hole where you place the IAC Valve. )
