• Autotap VS. Scantool

I have already downloaded software from each company. I like autotaps stuff better. Now I need the cord and interface box to actually plug into my OBD II port.

The autotap cord is like 300 bucks.... while the scantool cord is 114.

Is there any reason why the scantool cord and interface would not be compatible with autotap software??

    www.scantool.net vs. www.autotap.com

WIll some of you computer guys tell me if there is a difference between two, and if they will work interchangeably??

No one seems to know the answer

So I will buy the scantool equipment today and try it out.

I will report back to you guys with my results.

Hopefully we can save some money by getting the scantool hardware instead of autotap hardware.
