  • EGR Valve ???

    I have a 95 3.4 camaro,

    can someone tell me where my egr valve is?
    how easy is it to change? and how much do new ones cost?
    anybody have a pic of one?

    help!!!

    my gas milage is horrible and i think this may be one of my last resorts.

    it should be on your driver side of the engine, right in front and above the manifolds. it will have a flexible steel tube going into the manifolds.

    have you dont the PCV valve and the fuel filter too?

      since i have a 3.4 i guess that tube going from the intake manifold to some piece that i cant describe what it looks like, which is connect to the exhaust manifolds. is that the egr valve?

      how do i go about getting a new one?

          Im not quite sure to tell you the truth. I guess i need the whole valve.

          i found part number 214-5004 on the ac delco site.

          i found a price from www.rockauto.com and they say its $248 for the ac delco piece and $182 for a piece made by Standard Motor Products.

          Do i need to buy the whole valve and which one should i go with?
