Hi,
I have a 1998 Auto Firebird.

Does anyone know where I can find a set of written, printed, or blank sheets bound together into a volume?

I heard that these things contain helpful information for my car. I have many questions like, where is my crankshaft position sensor, or where is my EGR, or what does the vacuum diagram for my car look like? I believe that a set of written, printed, or blank sheets bound together into a volume could help me out. Rumor has it that these contain designs or representations made by various means (as painting, drawing, or photography) which could prove helpful.

I've heard that a business establishment where usually diversified goods are kept for retail sale might have these. Is this true, and can I impart officially coined or stamped metal currency in exchange for them?

I'm not sure they exist. I believe since 1998, all of the GM service manuals have come on a system known as SI-2000. You can buy copies of it on eBay (which I did), or get it on the web at http://www.thenebula.com:9001/servlets/Home (seems to not be working at the moment?)

Sorry, I was being a little facetious (joking or jesting often inappropriately) due to all the questions that I've seen where people ask something that is often VERY easy to find in an Haynes or Chilton book...
