• too cheap to be good?? rotors

    ran into these on ebay,

    http://cgi.aol.ebay.com/ebaymotors/w...tem=2441115305

i know that cheap drilled rotors have a tendency to crack, anyone know what to ask the seller, to make sure they arent crap?

i know you get what you pay for,

For a few bucks more, you can get PowerSlot rotors, and be sure that they are top quality. I'd be a little concerned that they don't list a brand name or company that makes them. Anyone can drill a rotor, and 98% of them done at home will crack and warp quickly. I can get you the PowerSlot rotors pretty quick, see the link in my sig for pricing

Oops, sorry. I just saw the picture of 2 rotors adn assumed it was two. Anyway, 4 rotors for $200, sounds like parts store cheasp rotors with holes drilled. A good long time ago, there was a thread on here about a member who tried to drill his own rotors, and it was nasty!

There are no gains form having them other then looks

I wouldn't want those things on my car, I am sure it woudl end up nasty in the end.

jsut rig up some brake cooling dcuts, alot cheaper and probably much better.

If anyone wants to I will see if I can dig up the website that explains how to.

Slotted and cross drilled rotors will eat up any brake pad you put on a car.

A wonderful set of pads I enjoyed were Hawk performance friction, did wonders on stopping my car.
