What times are most of you running?

I know there is a timeslip page, but I want to know everyone that posts times.

Mods help also

I want to run mine again, because when I first ran it, I didn't have my cutout. I know it shouldn't make a HUGE difference. But to be honest, I have a friend who I race to benchmark. Usually when we would race at 80, we would be even. Once I got my cutout I had 1.5-2 cars CLEARLY on him. Rolling and from a dig. Just their is really too much rain here to go now.

Mods : Homemade CAI and Cutout. (I have a flowmaster muffler, but well, it doesn't do much )

Best timeslip so far.

r/t - .551
60' - 2.25 (Must work on launch :( )
330 - 6.721
1/8 - 10.49
MPH - 65.57
1000- 13.775
1/4 - 16.58
MPH - 80.63

I know...It is DAMN slow, But I am really hoping to see good results at the track with the cutout and some weight reductions. (When I ran I had everything in the car, including system and school supplies)

I don't have my slip with me, but my best time so far has been 16.0xx at like 82 mph or something like that. Don't race much anymore though, have some tranny problems (Not to mention I am in Denmark without my car :( )

wow..16.0@82?
2mph changes that much? hehe

BTW my friend I race took his car to the track and runs a 1/4 at 82mph..If I am beating him by 1.5 - 2 cars, does that mean I should theoretically run a higher mph than him?

It all depends on the launch and the gearing and the shifting and all that stuff what MPH you reach at the end. It is possible to have a faster time with a lower MPH. It also depends on how far you are beating him when you get 1.5 cars on him.

its not really a bad time for a 2.5 sixty if I got a NORMAL 2.0 sixty foot like most people can  I would run a 14.8 easy. In fact Ive raced some high 14 sec cars and they don't put an inch on me to 110 mph, its just a matter of launching well.

you should be low 16s maybe a 16.0 if those gears don't make you run out of steam at high rpms. Since you're an auto though, I bet you could get a 2.0 sixty.

60 foots are a *****

I don't have any times or dyno readings yet, but my mods are listed on my page which is in the sig. I will have times soon and will let you all know at that point.

this is what gets me... i beat si's which are 15's stock on the streets, but if i would go a full 1/4 i would probably lose.

i stick to the shorter races then :D

its because of those gears, and your tq curve, I bet it pulls good down low, while they pull good up high.

what rear gears do you (93-95 3.4) have? the tech data base says 3.23, cb1101 shows 3.73, & my car came with 3.42. just wondering out loud.

3.4s came with 3.23s stock, except for a few special ones, those others are all aftermarket.

for the shift improvement, get a nice shift kit, and a nice tq converter, if I had an auto those would be my first mods lol...
