I am sorry to have to ask this question, but I am traveling and don’t have access to my manuals (yes I have my car). What pressure should the AC system be? I noticed it was not as cool as it usually is, and connected the scanner and the pressure was at 133…..

Please let me know ASAP. Thanks

I'm assuming that's high side pressure? or is it low side with the system off?

High side while system is running should be around 200-215. If you measured it with the system off, you'll have to look at a temp-pressure chart to see if it's about right. My gauges show the chart but I don't have them with me.

Actually that was the pressure with the AC on High and the pressure reading was what my Autoscanner (code and sensor scanner/computer) told me.

was the compressor running when you did this? It will turn off when the pressure gets too low which may explain the reading you have.

I was driving at 75 MPH so I could not check....I turned off the AC and ther pressure dropped to 119, then when I turned it back on it went back up to 133

hmmm...well that baffles the heck out of me, I didn't know the computer had the pressure info reported to it, thought there was just a switch in the a/c system.
