I need to know know where my crankshaft sensor is located. I checked the hanyes manual but didnt find it. Need to do this today its my day off. Anyone who replys a big thanks.

Look at the waterpump on the front of the engine, just below it and slightly off to the left is the crankshaft position sensor.

If so, that's the camshaft position sensor, not crankshaft.Matt

Ok I found the senor on my hanyes manual fianally.
The question is now how do I get the cap off to get to the sensor its the big pully. It show it but the engine is out of the car, its the number 6 in the pic here http://home.cfl.rr.com/mkaprocki/Camaro/L36.bmp
