I need to know know where my crankshaft sensor is located. I checked the hanyes manual but didnt find it. Need to do this today its my day off. Anyone who replys a big thanks.

Are you talking about #5 in this pic: http://home.cfl.rr.com/mkaprocki/Camaro/L36.bmp
If so, that's the camshaft position sensor, not crankshaft.Matt

Ok I found the senor on my hanyes manual fianally.
The question is now how do I get the cap off to get to the sensor its the big pully. It show it but the engine is out of the car, its the number 6 in the pic here http://home.cfl.rr.com/mkaprocki/Camaro/L36.bmp
