I have to shift at around 5600 or else i catch the rev limiter. Is there any way i can change it so i can redline? Do they make a chip if so where can i get it from.
Also my car tops out at 123mph is there anyway to remove governer?
There are tuners you can purchase to alter/remove the stock limiters. I beleive there are also chips you can get ahold of as well, but tuning is preferred to this.
A couple tuners people use:
Hypertech
HP tuners
From what you said, Hypertech would probably be the best for you personally unless you want to get into real in-depth engine tuning. Hypertech is also cheaper than HP.
stock limiter is 5900 it just looks like it comes faster because our tach suck and there is lag.
but I did notice that in A4s, it looks like they shift frm 2nd-3rd at like 5600
not sure if you can change shiftpoints/up the rev limiter with hypertech, but you can with hp tuners.

just to let you know you are shifting at 5900 just the tach takes ahwile to catch up to the motor spinning.
