  • P0113 code wont go away

I'm getting a code P0113 IAT sensor 1 high input and it comes up two times. I re-spliced the wires and today I replaced the sensor itself, then cleared the code with my scanner, but it still comes back. After that I tried disconnecting the battery and pulling the two PCM fuses for 30 mins, but it still came back after that too. What else can I do? I gotta get it smogged within 4 days so I'm pretty desperate. I might have to take it in to the dealer.

P0301 is a misfire on cylinder 1, doesn't have anything to do with IAT.

How does the car drive? Any misfires that you can feel?

If you have a scanner, what temperature does the IAT show?

I got an OBD-2 scanner from autozone, but all it does is give me the codes, a brief description, and the option to erase them.

Took it to the dealer today. It turned out to be the wiring harness. I guess the wiring had to be perfect, because I already had them crimped down before and it still gave the code. Then I went to the smog shop and it ended up passing everything except the computer check. Even though the SES light was off it still failed because there's some "ready flags" or something that gotta be reset by driving it for 100 miles/a few days before it will completely clear. So all in all I wasted $275 on this crap today. But the guy said he would do the second smog for half price at least.

Oh yeah, on a side note they included my car's weight on the test results and it was 3625 (with a 1/4 tank)
