the light comes on when my panel lights up right when i turn the key on but when i pull the e-brake up the light sometimes comes on /not at all /or its very faint...whats makin it do this cuz its really botherin my when i wanna put my ttops on and i have to shut the car off to pop the hatch

does the light ever stay on for a long period of time? -
it came on today when i pulled it up at around 9:30am but when i came home at 1pm it wasnt lightin up at all...it basically works when it wants to it seems...i pull it up the same amount everytime so i dont know whats up with it
