I wouldn't buy a T/A without the WS6 package on it. I can't find one in FL, or the U.S for under 18,500(2002) I love the last year they made the F-body cars. If they bring back the Camaro or T/A with a 6spd and Ls-7 I'll s}*** my pants. Untill they bring em' back I'm strongly compelled to keep my v6.

A stock 500hp camaro...all I can think of on that note is, "Poor Cobra." I'd like to collect em' but Im no where near rich. Chevy will bring back a high performance car... they wouldn't let Ford own the market... for too long. As far as the WS6 package, I never really thought about that. It'd save me a few g's for shure though. I think I'll mod my v6 for the experience, but god.. a 6th gear would be nice.

There will most likely be a Camaro comeback. Well over 50% chance, not quite 100%, based on what GM has released so far... last time I checked.
Anyway, as for LS7 Camaros. No, it won't happen. It doesn't make any sense for GM to put the handmade 500HP 7.0l into a pony car. The largest reason it's coming back is because the Mustang is going unchallenged in the market and GM needs money, they need to compete with the Mustang at affordable costs.
If we saw an LS2 in a Z28 that'd be lucky enough, but an LS7... cross your fingers so that someone will crash their Z06 and leave the engine unscathed, cause GM ain't puttin it in the Maro.
IMO what GM needs to do for money is compete with the Stang in terms of cost. Your typical Pony car buyer is looking for the most affordable 300 horses on the market. That's why the Mustang continues to beat the Maro in sales 10-fold. GM needs to lower the price on the maro, even if it means narrowing the gap between mustang and Camaro performance. I'd have very mixed feeling about that, but I have no doubt Maro sales would go up.
As for a T/A comeback, very unlikely. Sadly. Pontiac already got their chance, it was the GTO. They failed. Buyers don't want it, it's exterior styling doesn't say "400 HORSES!" and that's a problem. The new mustang says it, even though it's weaker, and slower. Not to mention it's several thousand dollars cheaper. I'm not bashing it, I love the GOAT, but that doesn't matter much when I'm an obvious minority.
Hate to be the voice of reason... but that's my 2 cents on the F-body return.
stock 97 corolla for now...<br />LT1 soon if lucky
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
