I sold my camaro next sunday (for a vette)
I've passed the inspection...
My brake lights aren't working anymore!
the camaro stays outside for 3 mouths without running
any idea?
Where is located the brake light switch?
no, i think the center high mount third brake light has it's own, but i may be mistaken.
check your fuses, and then the bulbs. the brake lights have a dual element bulb and it's easy for one element (the stop lamp) to break and have the other (park) in good working condition.
if all three of them are out, I believe there is a wiring harness behind the "CAMARO" piece that has all the brake lights go through it. And from my experience, when a fuse blows. Replacing the fuse isn't usually the solution. There's something else that you need to look at.
I had replaced the light bulbs in my car once and accidently wrapped a wire around one of the bolts that holds the light fixture on, it kept shorting out on me and that was the reason.
