  • Two annoying problems

I've read that these are fairly common problems but maybe you guys could help me out. When I hit around 55 or 60 I get some wind noise on my drivers side. I'm not sure exaclty where it's coming from or what is causing it as my door seems aligned properly and all but it's certainly annoying. This doesn't happen on the passenger side at all. If it helps at all, when at car washes, my drivers side window leaks. Not terrible, but noticable enough to be annoying. It's probably coming from the same place, but I've had my door relaigned at 2 different places and neither have solved this problem. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Second problem is after hitting about 65 or 70 I get some pretty nasty wheel rattle. Even on smooth highway my wheel shakes pretty nasty - enough so that it makes my arm feel funny if I keep it on there long enough. Is this just because I might need a realignment or... what exactly?

    Thanks for all your help!

the finish on our cars isnt all that great but maybe ur lugs aren't tightend evenly or yah maybe the aligntment, just a guess

although i dont get ne wheel rattle i do get that lil bit of water when i wash my car. as far as wind noise, mine is pretty quiet. when i open the window i feel more wind than i hear. when i ride in my moms mercedes suv(ml450 or 500?) feels like your listening to a field reporter in a tornado warning there is soo much noise. of course with the windows up it is dead quite, the ride so soft i always get sleepy, and i slide on the leather bench in the back

I get some wind noise where my mirror connects on the driver side door...maybe its coming from there on your car as well?

It seems to be coming from that area - what about it exactly leaves a gap?

Sounds like the tire is out of round or you lost a wheel weight. Bring it to a tire shop and have them balance the tire for you.

I'm not sure yet, but it really annoys me as well so I'm going to take a look at it when I have time.

For the wind noise and the leaking, are your door or t-top gaskets all good(if you have t-tops)??
