  • Is this normal?

I just noticed the other day that my fuel pressure gradually drops while the engine is warming up, is that normal? At a cold start my fuel pressure gauge reads about 43psi at idle and as the car warms up it gradually drops to about 38psi at idle and if I am driving and take my foot off the gas it will drop to 36psi. The fuel pump is new, it is a Walboro 255. I don't know what the symptoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator is but when I turn the key the pressure jumps to 40psi and stays there. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for the info.
