output shaft seal?

The output shaft seal or rear tranny seal (whatever its called) appears to be leaking a little. How much does it usually cost to have these replaced. Thanks

the seal itself is like 3 dollars, if the mechanic doesnt drag a** doing the job, it should take no mare than a half hour, i just did one my self in my 86 firebird 2.8 m5.

so should I be expecting no more than $50 to get this replaced? I just want to get an estimated figure so the shop doesnt try to rip me off.

Had to replace mine last summer. Spend like $3 bucks from GM for the seal. Local tranny shop swapped it out for $35 bucks. Only took them like 20 minutes. No problems since.

Mines doing the same thing too and I'm about to replace it myself. Is there like a special tool I need to use to take the old one out?

A flat-head screwdriver and a mallot. It's a very simple install.
