    ok,
    this:
    http://www.mustangmods.com/data/2295/061905_1917.jpg
is a rather weak picture that i took with my cell phone. It's the coil on the back of my buddy's 1989 IROC Z-28. he bought the car with a blown engine that was half dissasembled, so rewiring the new crate motor into it has been fun. We belive that we have everything hooked up correctly, as all the connections are hooked up. however, being that we have no more plugs, or vacume lines left, i'm wondering if anyone knows what goes to the 2 connections that are inside of that red circle i drew in. I know this is a V6 board, but then again, I also know that alot of you guys are guru's with anything F-body. any feedback would be appreciated.
    thanks

i have nothing left to plug into them....that's what the question is. they are connections on the bottom of the coil. if someone had an IROC....they could just go and look at it lol.
it sits right behind the top of the upper intake manifold, next to the distributor (which isn't installed in this picture).

Hia, If you can't get your answer here, try f-body.com. There is alot of V8 people there. But I'm sure someone here knows. This is the best board around IMO.

                argh.

we've got the whole motor back together, and we tried to start it last night.
something is not letting the starter get power at all. I turned on the headlights, and turned the key.... the head lights don't even dim. the dash gauges zero out, but the starter makes no effort to turn. which tells me that there's an electrical problem somewhere. Possibly with the ignition because it has the GM chip in the key?? would a grounding wire not being connected propperly cause the motor to not even make an effort to turn over? I hate electrical problems.
