It just recently happened. I have 25k miles on my 01 camaro. when i push the clutch in it makes a scratching noise (two metals rubbing together) right where the piston on the clutch goes into a black cylinder(inside of vehicle, against floor). I want to bring it into service, but their booked, and i dont wanna end up having to pay for them to look at it if its not under warranty. can anyone help? Thanks for your time. ;)

Well, from my knowledge our cars have a 3 year/36,000 mile full-warranty. I know I took mine in at around 35,000 for some work. Just check your warranty.\'00 Camaro | V6 | A4 | White | Y87 | Neutral Leather | Monsoon | Flowmaster | Raised Air Box | Clear Corners | K&N Air and Oil | Mobil 1<br />160* T-Stat on the way

I know the cars still under warranty, but they will make me pay for the inspection if its something i caused. I just wanna know if this could be caused by a bad clutch? I dont wanna get stuck paying $150 for a check-up if its something i could figure out here. Go Fast or Dont Go
