Has anyone here installed a rear main in your car and how in gods name did you do it w/o the GM install tool. I was going to fab my own from pipe and heavy gauge sheet metal. Any thoughts.

i did it on my 3.4
pretty easy actually, just took the weekend to do it.
Gm install tool? theres a tool for it?
just pressed it in got a block and hammered it in, a little barbaric but it worked.
well, the original one wasnt even leaking as i come to find out later...sneaky intake manifoldI will take on all comers...or come on all takers!!! Whichever you prefer.
