  • HELP!!!!!! Anyone

My Camaro has been acting kinda funny lately the speedometer starts jumping from one speed to another, and the tach does the same thing with out the engine RPM's changing. I went to my grandmothers house and was leaving put it in reverse, and the car died after 2 ft and wont start now. I have cleaned the battery posts and am about to try another battery to see if it is the battery that took a crap. Anybody else have any ideas????

I would check both the batt. and the alternator. You may also want to reset the PCM by pulling the fuse for a few min.
Other than that the only thing I can think of is hooking it up to a diagnostic tool and see if you get any codes to tell you what the problem is.
Are you getting the SES light?

No lights no power the only things that come on is the door buzzer when the ignition is on and the key is in the ignition and a slight noise from the fuel pump thats it.

After checking the fuseable links I have found it to be the keyswitch. Wooohoo wonderful fun job. Anybody else have the fun in doing this?
