weird smell from a/c

when i first turn on my a/c i get a sort of mildewy smell i usually lasts for the first 3 minutes or so but every now n then it will last for a really long time

i have a 99 auto 'maro does anyone have/had the same problem i do? what should i do?

I think you might have gotten a rotten car

turn the a/c on regular of vent regular & spray a can of lysol into the outside cowl air vent. the spray will get sucked up & kill those pesky girms.

When it's really really hot out and I kick on my AC the same thing happens to me but only when the interior is still very hot.

have you checked all a/c connections?
