Ok, my car has been running like crap ( my 97 Camaro) and so I took it and got it scanned. I got back PO122 which means my TPS is bad. So I buy a new one, car still runs like sh*t. What gives? Do I need to reset the computer or? Thanks for any help.

Yes you are going to need to get the code cleared. Your car is probably still running poorly because the pcm uses its last "good" reading(before the fault) and so is probably running very rich. Get the fault code cleared and that should help.

You shouldn't have to reset the PCM to clear the problem. It should clear itself over a period of a few starts, just keep in mind the TPS may not be your only problem.2001 Onyx Black Camaro M5-Totalled<br />2005 Ford F150 XLT 5.4L<br /><br />\"To make peace, prepare for war.\"
