I know this is old post, but I figured what the heck. I run manifolds to 3" to a 3"x18" resonator glasspack, then 3" reduced to 2.5" into a Series 80 Flowdisaster. I am somewhat happy with the sound. Even though is doesnt flow all that great over stock. I am considering a full catless 2.5" system to a Dynomax muffler.

pacesetters, not cat, custom s pipe (more like just pipe now alot straighter),going into borla catback. i love it and always get compliments even from non enthusiasts.

So i voted for flowmaster... back when i had it. Borla is the way to go. i cant change my vote. so just know, there is one less flowbasterd and one extra borla.

i had to say it... i am still pissed about the flows

2.5 custom tube + dynacat (50% more airflow over stock) + polished Magnaflow Muffler (direct flow) + Pacesetters = Quieter and deep sound (what I was looking for), instead of the loudy, noisy and scrapy sound of the previous flowmaster muffler with OEM exhaust system (manifolds, cat, 2.25 tubing, and muffler).
Camaro99\'3.8, original spoil package (no body mods...PROUDLY), K&N, Lid 3800II, SLP CAI, Flowmaster, Z28Chrome Tips, 180* Thermostat.
