I was looking at the fuses under the hood and the little 20 amp fuse for the air pump is missing. Am i suppose to have a fuse there? And If I am would this have done any damage?

I don't think it would do any damage, I think it is more for emissions then anything else. If it has metal clips in there to put a fuse in, there should be one in there. If it is just a plastic square, it is a blank and not used.
