You mean PCV Valve? Don't really need to change it too often. Maybe 30-50K, and even then chances are it'll be fine. But it's such a cheap and easy thing that it's not gonna hurt to just change it.Matt

no, but car innards will not get as dirty. When you shake the pcv valve & you caint hear/feel a rattle from it, change it.1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built :rock:

not a fool proof way to check it, so if you take it out just replace it. It is less then 3 bucks.
Also, if it bad you may notice more mid range power.
