  • Fuel Pressure Gauge: 0-16 PSI or 15-100 PSI - Which One

I don't know which fuel pressure gauge to get. What PSI does our system operate it? Myt guess would be 15-100 PSI but I'm not sure. Also, where does the sending unit mount at on the engine? Thanks

15-100 PSI is right. Fuel injection requires a high pressure fuel system. The low pressure would be for a carbed application.

I don't know right off hand where you could hook it up though.

We run around 40psi at idle, higher at wot.

Sending unit connects to the schrader valve on the fuel rail. There will be a black screw on cap, similar to the one you find on a/c lines. On my '98 it's on the passenger side, toward the front of the rail.

the 15-100 is for fuel injected cars, the lower pressure range is for carburated vehicles.
