Your next question will be "How did I know it was bad" so I will tell you. It was melted into a clump (Nitrous Explosion). There was no doubt mine was bad. ;)
Well Damn you cant blame Advance Auto Parts when your burning the damn things into clumps with nitrous explosions! lol

I smoked the original MAF (stock). Both he Advance parts were replacments that did not work. Once I put one in from the dealer, it worked great.

Did it work for you, I am still having problems with mine. I bought Auto Zones brand new (Cardone Select)MAF sensor and that didn't work for me either. Right now I am starting to wonder if it is my MAF or not. I know I should go to the dealer and get OEM but I am afraid to now becasue you would think that at least 1 out of the 3 remanufactured ones and especially the new one would have worked. The reason I have not gone to the dealer yet is because now I am affraid that if this ends up not being my problem after all then I will not be able to return the one to the dealer.

just ask if you can return it before you buy it or throw it on right at the dealer so they know you aren't giving them back a bad one and can see it didn't work for ya.

New development,

Today I decided to turn up my onset of boost adjustment on my FMU a little so while the car was at idle I popped off the vacuum to the FMU.
I noticed the idle got a little smoother so I plugged my MAF sensor back in and the car ran alot better. Then I replugged the vacuum line back into the FMU again and the car ran horribly and wanted to stall. I have thought it has been my MAF sensor all this time but maybe it is something else.
Any ideas.
