I have seen a picture of a pulley for our car, and it doesnt look the same but im not sure, idk if the fact that our car is RWD adn the grand prix is FWD has anything to do with it.

Ok, so they work but are they worth it?

From what I have read, your car will run hotter or with less electricity, depending on the pulley, and give about or under 5rwhp. So, you decide if it is worth it, but I won't be doing it.

Well lets say the alt is a 10% underdrive.

10% of idle (700rpm) is 70RPM... so instead of 700RPM, itll be idling at what is relatively 630RPM... Not so bad eh?

Okay, 6000RPM, redline... 10% of 6000 is 600, so it'll only be hitting the 5400RPM speed when your engine is at redline.

So, it makes all the difference in the upper band, and not so much down low. Most people have fine results with them I hear.

I'm thinking about saving up for the 20% Underdrive Alternator Pulley. Bigger the better right?
