People keep telling me that my car is running RICH, how do i adjust this problem, on old cars you would adjust the carb, but on new cars how do you adjust it? I put 93 octane gas can this be the problem?

Probably is the 93 octane. The engine was designed to run on 87 octane and not all of it is burning with the 93.

I have run 110 octane and not had fumes smell...
how many miles are on your car. have you replaced your O2 sensors?
You sure its runnign rich? Basically O2 sensors, read the exhasut detect if car is runnign rich or lean and tells the ocmptuer to adjsut the air/fuel ratio to make up for running rich or lean.
bad o2 sensors will screw this up.

Is that with a power adder or n/a?
Just wondering because I've always been under the impression that you could end up with unburned fuel by running higher octane than needed.

Do you always have the fumes or only when the car is parked after driving?
If it is only after driving then you need to replace the Carbon thingamajib behind the driver's side rear wheel.Joel
God is my copilot, but Satan has his foot on the gas!
94 3.4L AutoCamaroRagtop w/MSD ignition,Accelcoilpacks,K&N FIPK,BMR SFC&STB,3\"Catco w/3\"catbackSS muffler,JetStage 2,HomemadePIAAheadlightconversion http://www.geocities.com/cardiac1968

yeah the carbon thing will cause gas fumes but not have it run rich.
And the 110 octane I was running N/A, at the track no gains, only reason I did it, was car was sputtering, I needed a gallon of gas so I put in a gallon of 110 freaking $5 a gallon, well better then being straded waiting for the girlfriend to bring me a gas can.
