  • "shock sensor"

I have a question guys- my "shock sensor" connection isn't connected. And when I put it together a little red light turns on where the ends meet. What is a shock sensor? It's located where my jack and spare is. When its connected is my alarm more sensitive or what? Thanks a lot! BTW- when I bought the car it was already disconnected. Later all....

I know what you're talking about, but I'm not quite sure what it is. I always assumed it had something to do with the airbags. I could be wrong though, it has happened once before :D

It's a shock sensor for your alarm. Look in your manual on how to program using the shock sensor in addition to the normal "content" theft deterrent system.

its a snsor for your alarm like if someone rocks it or hits it in a parkinglot itll go off. once you connect it let the red leight come on then dissconnect your battery wait 30 minutes and reconnect it. if it doenst reset itself then something is wrong with it and u need a new one if you want a more sensative car alarm.
