I just got my 99 firebird. Everything is great thus far. My complaint is that the right headlight makes this clicking sound when you turn the lights off. Is that a motor or is there a sensor i can adjust? i looked carefully and could nto find anything blocking the light from closing completely. it goes all the way down, it just seems to not be able to detect when it is fully closed. Anyone every have this happen to them? How do you fix it?

hey......if you have a warranty , then have them fix it . if you dont have a warranty then try to search for the fix site that explains that the gear that is stripped inside the motor and is grinding only uses half of the total gear , so if you remove the motor assembly from the car and open up the gear box you can flip the gear and itll be as good as new , but try to find the site for full detailed instructions , if its not on this board then i think its on fbody.com...........hope i helped.........motors are almost 300 bucks each just for the part. Look around some more and you'll find the best fix is to order a brass gear. The problem is the headlight motor will eventually strip out the plastic / nylon gear.I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
