any1 know a site or cant explain how to install one on a 3.4. it seems easy but access to the thermo. let me know. thanx

The 3.4L thermo is located under that "Y" looking thing after the throttle body. Just make sure and change the thermo when your engine is cool. Not too hard, just requires the right tools and some patience.

That's got to be the easiest mod, even I accomplished it myself but just be careful when tightening the bolts, it's an aluminum thermostat housing and will crack if you over tighten it.
Get a wrachet with a 3" extention and one of those swivel U joint things to put on the end, that will take care of the clearence problems real quick. Other than that, don't think there was anything difficult about it. Be sure and get an O ring to put on and be sure to put it on right. Notice how it is positioned when you take it out unless it gets stuck in there like mine did. The O ring goes around the outer edge of the Thermostat not how I put it on the first time.
Oh yeah, for what it's worth I suggest a 180* but whatever floats your boat.

I was able to do it with a small socket wrench... I highly recommend getting the swivel attachement or you'll be teaching the neighbor kids next door some new vocabulary mommy shelters them from...
