Ok so heres what i got...my oil press would normally go up with my rpm's like every other car ive had...but then it started actin funny like shootin way higher than normal...so wednesday i noticed that the pressure was a lot lower than normal so i looked under the hood and found that it was leakin from the sensor on the bottom passanger side...so i replaced it today with no leaks...but now the gauge doesnt read any higher than 60...so basically my question is that is it supose to b at 60 or higher?

I had the same problem with oil seeping out from the oil pressure sensor awhile back and I simply replaced the faulty item with one from AutoZone and I've always seen it a tad over 60psi however I use Mobil Synthetic 15w-50. I'm assuming the thicker viscosity is a direct show & tell on my oil pressure gauge. I do use a longer Fram filter identical to the one I currently use on my 1991 Firebird 3.1 and it fits nicely. You might have a sensor that gives out a different spec reading so try another brand and return the old one to see if that changes anything to your satisfaction.Black \'96 RS Camaro, 3.8 V6 Series II, M5, Stock 200 HP, 204K miles!
