I know this won't pass emissions, but I have seen egr block off plates for the 5.7, was wondering if there was some sort of sim to go along with it. Also will the same plate work to block off the egr on the 3.8. The other thought was if you could tune the pcm for the egr delete? Thanks for any thoughts.

There are blockoff plates and simulators or you can use a tuner to disable it, but the question is why? Unless you've got a reason to get rid of it (like crappy headers), it's best to leave it.

just to try and keep the intake manifold a little cleaner and burning fuel a little better since it won't be tossing exhaust back into the intake

plus my egr valve is shot and cleaning it doesn't take away the code. Advance has a new one for 250, and gmpartsdirect.com has it for 125
