Ok it's now getting colder and my heater has not been performing to well. Takes my car at least 5 min to warm up. How long should I wait before I should consider my heater is not performing well? My parents intreped warms up in like a minute.

The T-stat won't make that much of a difference in how hot your heater gets and how hot the air comes out. It's minimal at most. I've have had mine for over a year and a half and my car gets plenty hot when I use my heater in the winter and its been around 30 degrees at night around hear. It just takes an extra minute or two to warm up. Their are newer more effiecient heater cores that you could get if you really wanted to. Check out the mohave(not spelled right) heater cores. They have a bunch of replacement heater cores that are more effecient and effective. Otherwise try waiting a couple of minutes for you car to warm up and such.1994 Camaro
3.4L V6 Automatic
K&N FIPK&Gold Oil Filter,Ravin Performance Exhaustw/Dynomax MandrelBent3\"I-Pipe&S Pipe&Catco 3\" HiFlow Cat.,ASP Crank and High AMP Alternator,U.D. Sounds normal to me, it takes my car about 5 mins or so to warm up in around 40* weather.2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT 1 of 701
ET : TBD
But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun!
