Is this the low pressure side of the a/c? I checked it with my gauge and it says 55psi. The temperature here in florida is under 95 degrees, but is humid.

    Possible A/c low pressure side?

Temperature of a/c vent at max cool. (~60-65 degrees)

Yep, that's the low pressure side. 55PSI sounds about right (I live in Orlando, I run about 50-55psi and it is much cooler than 65 degrees out of the vent).

I measured the pressure with the car off and its like 70 psi at night with the temp at 80. With the car on and running max cool, the pressure at night is 45. When exactly is the best time to measure the a/c refridgerant pressure? Do I have to have the car running?

Here's a page that tells you how to check the A/C system. It has a chart that indicates the normal pressures for a given temperature and humidity.

        And another one:

I checked on the website, but can anyone tell me how to find the high pressure side? I also am wondering if i need an empty can to let out some of the extra pressure in my system.

you do not have extra pressure in your system. Ignore the readings when the car is off... they are not relevant.
